Today Belinda helped with her Lenora’s wedding shower at church. She took along her little container of pureed lasagne for her lunch. She did a great job writing down the gifts in the gift book! Afterward, she got her dad to take her to Ulta to buy something she’s had her eye on.

She has a follow up appointment with her pediatrician on Tuesday afternoon, and then her follow up with the surgeons will be on May 8. At that point, they expect to release her to have more variety of foods!

Her spring formal is May 2, at a super fancy restaurant in OKC. I contacted them and they said they would be happy to puree anything she’d like. She said “yay” when I told her but not in an excited way. But this too shall pass. We are getting there!
